While editing the film, I began to see which scenes worked and which did not. I realized that the second scene in the kitchen with the egg shell did not work as there were too many scenes in the kitchen that looked too similar. I ended up adding scenes of a person struggling to open an umbrella in order to add another scene outside and make the film more balanced. I also discovered the importance of handles (extra time in the beginning and end of shots.) I had to cut short the shot of the two dancers stepping toward each other because the camera went out of focus right after that. I learned that I needed to give myself a bit of buffer time on either end of the shot in order to give myself enough options when editing. Another issue I encountered when putting the film together was the length of the music. My friend had given me a temporary version of the song to format my film around, however the final version included thirty additional seconds. I ended up editing the music to fit the footage that I had.
